Live all you can; it`s a mistake not to.
Some things don`t matter much [...]. Like the color of a house. How big is that in the overall scheme of life? But lifting a person`s heart - now, that matters. The whole problem with people is [...] they know what matters, but they don`t choose it.
I believe that life is a game, that life is a cruel joke, and that life is what happens when you're alive and that you might as well lie back and enjoy it.
I think to be a well-rounded person, you have to experience good and bad, wonderful moments and pain. You need to meet people who have no exposure to kindness, who lack any opportunity and have no way out - like the homeless, the mentally ill - and you`ve got to learn empathy for them.
Because if everything`s finite, if everything has a definite beginning, middle, and end, then why even get started in the first place? What`s the point when everything just leads to The End?
A life that is burdened with expectations is a heavy life. Its fruit is sorrow and disappointment.
Your own life is plenty hard without complicating it with that of another.
You can`t run away just because something won`t last. You have to hang in there, let it play out. It`s the only way you`ll ever advance.
